The SS18 collection is in part an homage to Tinder as the designer found love with her first match a year ago but also about the aesthetic and jargon existing there, blatant come-ons (“Lucy 28, Proud mother of two, gag reflex as absent as my father figure” or “Peter 50, I put out o the first date”) and explicit imagery. The look can be described as a warped, corporate, office look (think The Wolf of Wall Street) mixed with a half dressed prom queen get-up. Clear plastic dry cleaning clothes bags worn over warped and distorted office gear like suits, pencil skirts, macs and shirts, ties on your head, half tops and shirts, either cut just under the bust or just over. The prints are luggage logo inspired but with a Tinder twist.
